​Dana is the founder of Story Club, a monthly storytelling show that has been featured in Poets & Writers magazine. Story Club is held on a monthly basis in Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis, Boston, Tulsa and Columbus. 
​
Dana resides in the Cleveland area, where she teaches for Literary Cleveland. She has been featured in Cleveland.com, Cleveland Scene, the Chicago Reader, the Chicago Tribune, as well as on WBEZ and WCPN.  Dana has been named one of the funniest women in Ohio by Cleveland.com. In 2015 she was named one of Chicago's top 50 literary influencers by New City Chicago.

Rates: 
$50 for up to 15 pages. This includes a close reading of your work, email notes, and a 30 minute live review session via Skype, Google Hangouts, or FaceTime. Payment is accepted via Venmo or PayPal. Have a longer piece and/or want more time? Reach out for a quote!

Story Club Social 
When:  Last Thursday every month, 8PM EDT
Where:  Online! Check www.storyclubcleveland.com for meeting link.
What:  Story Club Cleveland is an open mic for true stories. Dana hosts a dance party at 7:45PM and the show goes live at 8:00PM. Open micers are given 8 minutes (1300 words) in which to tell a true story. Each show also spotlights featured performances from talented local storytellers. 
How:  $10 suggested donation supports local charities

When:  Tuesday, July 16 at 7PM CDT/6PM EDT

The Storytelling Code Virtual Book Launch 
When:  Saturday, July 18 at 6PM CDT
Where:  Online! Hosted by Women & Children First bookstore. 
​What: Join us for a virtual reading and conversation in honor of The Storytelling Code by Dana Norris. Norris will be in conversation with Jeremy Owens, the creator, producer, and host of the popular storytelling show, You're Being Ridiculous.

Get Your Work Out There - Literary Cleveland Inkubator Virtual Writing Conference
